Clinton Sanford - CA - Problem Solver

Clinton founded Sanford & Associates in 1987. Clinton’s objective is to help clients achieve their desired business and personal goals, optimise growth or guide them through structural and ownership changes.  

Clinton enjoys cycling with friends who keep him challenged and motivated. He and wife of over 35 years, Kerryn, have 4 grown children and 6 beautiful grandchildren. They enjoy family time at the beach which is usually followed by a very competitive game of cards.

Paulette Baldry - CA - Good At Listening

Paulette’s love for running is on par with her passion for numbers. She’s put in hours of training to achieve her running goals, but she’s also spent a lot of time with clients helping them achieve their financial goals.

Throughout the early years of her study, Paulette soon discovered a love for the corporate world and enjoyed the challenges of tight reporting deadlines. After having children, Paulette joined the firm in 2006 and became what we know and love as baldry + sanford.

Paulette is our Account Manager and over the years has built great relationships with our clients, directing them in ways that will grow their business and ultimately grow them too.

In more recent years Paulette has become a very proud grandmother to 3 beautiful grandchildren and has a great work/life balance being in the office 4 days a week.

Kate Quedley - ACA -
Getting The Details Right

Kate is an Aucklander, born and bred. She has great memories of spending time on the Coast with her grandparents as a young girl. Accounting wasn’t always part of Kate’s plan growing up, but after a stint in graphic art, she started working as an accountant in 2002 and has been on the team here since 2012.

Kate finds enjoyment in reconciling things because “it’s like putting all the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle together”. It’s always head down and ‘brain on’ in the office for Kate. She prefers the office environment and thrives when there is a list of things to be done (and reconciled).

Beach walks and socialising with friends over a good New Zealand wine (or two) are some of the things that make this cat-loving Coastie relaxed after a big week.

Lynda Poole - CA -
Accuracy is key

Lynda joined the baldry + sanford team in 2022 as part of the merger with Allan Gibson Associates Limited. Previously she has worked in public, corporate, and private chartered accountancy firms.

Lynda is passionate about learning and committed to delivering accurate results.  With a strong foundation and a drive for professional growth, she strives to provide exceptional service.

After growing up in Torbay and spending much of her childhood on the Coast, Lynda knew this was where she wanted to raise her (now grown) three children. She enjoys walking the beach with her dog, curling up with an enjoyable book, and going away in her caravan with her husband.

Sharon Cooper - BCom - Tradies' Friend

Having lived on the Hibiscus Coast for over 40 years, Sharon knows the Coast inside and out. Her early stages of study at school and university consisted of the subject she loved most: Mathematics! Graduating with a BCom and working over 30 years in the profession, we are confident saying that she’s not just a ‘Coastie’ guru but an accounting guru too.

Since joining the team in 2015, Sharon’s passion for accounting has only grown, although not solely credited to her love of numbers as she enjoys the variety of clients she gets to work with. 

When not in the office, you’ll find Sharon and her husband Ross spending time relaxing in their caravan, catching up with their 4 children and daughters-in-law or regularly being treated like a jungle gym by their 7 beautiful grandchildren.

Anne Mandeno - Office Manager & Xero Guru

Anne grew up in Morrinsville and Hamilton; then Gulf Harbour became home in 2002. With many childhood memories in Orewa with her grandparents, it has always had a special place in her heart. Initially nursing at a large vet practice in Hamilton, Anne’s love for accounts and admin was later re-ignited.

Since 2009, Anne has been part of the team here and is currently our resident Xero Guru. She loves helping people understand Xero and helping clients process their accounts. Being a forward thinker, Anne is always looking for new ways to improve and simplify current processes to benefit both clients and staff.

Anne loves spending time with family and friends while staying healthy and living a clean, green, vegan lifestyle.

Lisa Clune - Receptionist & Administrator

After growing up on the North Shore of Auckland, Lisa moved to the Hibiscus Coast in 2017. Prior to starting a family, Lisa was working in sales and event coordination so brought a wealth of corporate administrative experience with her as she joined our team in 2022. You will meet her smiling face at our reception desk while she manages a wide range of administrative tasks to keep everything in order around the office.

Lisa enjoys working within school hours, so she has lots of time with her young kids. They love days at the beach, riding bikes and reading books when everyone is worn out from a day of action.

PJ - Accountant

PJ joined the baldry + sanford team in mid 2023 after recently graduating from Massey University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. He has embarked on an exciting career change after spending 14 years as an executive chef.

His enthusiasm and energy are contagious, infusing the office with a vibrant atmosphere. PJ's eagerness to learn and grow is truly inspiring.

When he's not at work, you'll find PJ immersing himself in all things cricket – playing, watching, and even managing a team.

Odna Richards - Accountant

Odna joined the baldry + sanford team in mid 2023. She has a Bachelor of Accountancy from Auckland University of Technology, and 10 years working experience. Odna brings expertise and meticulous attention to detail to every task. 

Beyond her professional endeavors, she finds joy in spending quality time with her son, losing herself in the pages of books at the library, and exploring the beauty of local beaches.

Denise Baker - Admin & Accounting Support

Denise joined baldry + sanford mid 2023 and has quickly become a valued part-time member of our team. She has a great working history in accounting practices and finds immense satisfaction in working with numbers and transforming chaos into well-organised financial systems.

When she's not at the office, Denise enjoys indulging in her love for music, savoring a glass of wine, and cherishing quality time with her family on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast.
