Great Christmas Movies

The Must-Sees for Christmas

In no particular order because that would be like saying you love one child more than another.

1. A Christmas Carol - Any version will do. Our pick would be the Jim Carey version. Great classic story with modern CGI graphics.

2. The Santa Clause - And of course the sequels too! Tim Allen makes the red suit his own in this fun filled family trilogy.

3. Home Alone - What's a Christmas without Kevin and those two bungling bandits?!!

4. Elf - Probably one of the only Will Farrell movies you can watch as a family. Loads of laughs regardless of your age.

5. It's a Wonderful Life - If you haven't taken the opportunity to slow down and enjoy this classic you are missing out.

6. Miracle on 34th Street - Santa comes to New York and things happen.

7. The Polar Express - Tom Hanks in multiple roles captivates, entertains and helps us all to Believe!

8. The Grinch Who Stole Christmas - Another stellar Jim Carey performance along side other stars who bring Whoville to life and remind us all about the heart of Christmas.

9. White Christmas - Enjoy the pageantry and talent of Hollywood legends whose class and skill have yet to be matched.

10. Fred Clause - Vince Vaughan is another actor you can't watch as a family often, but he pulls one out of the hat with this comedic and touching story of what it is like to be Santa's brother.

11. Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer - If you can find it, a great classic stop motion capture will take you back to your childhood as you learn the full story about this famous reindeer.

12. A Charlie Brown Christmas - Well worth the search to find it. Charlie Brown in his typical philosophical way works out what Christmas is all about.

Get the family, light the tree and watch these movies together this season or make it a tradition you and your kids or grandkids will look back on with fond memories.
